Booking conditions

These are the booking terms and conditions between Topo Travel AB and our Guests. In this text, Topo Travel AB is referred to as “we”/”us” and the guest is sometimes referred to as “you”/”your”.

Age

For all our activities, the minimum age is 18 years unless otherwise stated. Exceptions can be made if you participate with a guardian, but only after consultation with us.

Booking validity and payment

After booking, you will receive a booking confirmation via email. Your booking is binding and you agree to pay a deposit of 2000 SEK within 14 days of booking.

The remaining amount must be paid no later than 14 days before the start date.

Bookings closer than 14 days from the start date can only be made after agreement with us and in that case the full amount must be paid immediately.

Payment is made via invoice that will be sent to the email address provided when booking.

Cancellation

If you want to cancel your trip/activity, you can do so according to the following cancellation rules:

If you cancel no later than 60 days before the trip/activity, you only pay the deposit of 2000 SEK and get back the remaining amount paid. This applies even if you have not had time to pay the deposit. If you cancel 60 – 30 days before the trip/activity, you get back 50% of the total price of the trip. In other words, you as a traveler/participant are obliged to pay 50% if it has not already been done. If you cancel within 30 days before the trip/activity, no refund will be made and you as a traveler/participant are obliged to pay 100% of the total price of the trip if it has not been done. Cancellations must be made in writing via email to info@topotravel.se and must be confirmed by us.

The price of the trip does not include cancellation protection. We recommend that you resolve this with your insurance company. If you as a traveler/participant become ill and cannot participate in the trip/activity, you need insurance that covers your participation. This is so that Topo Travel and other participants are not affected and can carry out the trip/activity as planned.

Cancelled trip

Topo Travel AB reserves the right to cancel an activity if the number of registered participants is too few.

The activity can also be canceled in the event of illness (of the guide), if a replacement cannot be arranged.

If an activity is canceled by Topo Travel AB, you will primarily be rebooked for another date. The choice of a replacement date is made in consultation with us. If rebooking cannot be made, there is no payment obligation for registered guests, i.e. you will receive a refund of what you paid to us, including the deposit fee.

No compensation will be made for any costs that may have arisen for you as a traveler/participant in connection with the trip, such as tickets, hotels, etc.

Insurance

Participants undertake to ensure that adequate insurance is in place before the activity, for example through home insurance, accident insurance through a school, trade union or employer. For alpine climbing, we recommend that you take out insurance through the Swedish Climbing Association www.klatterforbundet.com (This also provides certain discounts, bring your membership card.)

Force majeure

The participant has no right to compensation or refund if the fault is the participant’s fault or in the event of extraordinary/unavoidable events in the sense of force majeure. Exceptional and unavoidable events that are beyond the organizer’s control are, for example: serious security problems such as war, terrorism, serious illness/outbreak of a pandemic, natural disasters or sudden political or legal measures (such as changes in airspace, entry requirements, on which the organizer has no influence).
