Program

Day 1
Travel day. You’ll make your way to our beautiful house in Lofoten – the place that will be our base for the week. Surrounded by mountains, the sea, and endless skies, the adventure begins long before you arrive. In the evening, we’ll prepare dinner together, get to know one another, and settle into the peaceful surroundings – far away from the pace of everyday life.

Day 2–7
Every day offers a new adventure. We aim to explore both classic hikes and hidden gems – all with breathtaking views. Each day’s route will be chosen based on weather, conditions, and the group’s energy levels. With our own minibus throughout the week, the possibilities are endless!

Expect 5–6 hours of hiking per day, sometimes longer, with an elevation gain of 500–1000 meters.

In the evenings we’ll enjoy good company, delicious dinners, or simply time for ourselves. The sauna will be heated, and outside the door we’ll have a jacuzzi with stunning views.

Day 8
Departure day. Time to check out from the house.

Please note that the program may be adjusted depending on weather conditions.

Prerequisites

You have some hiking experience and are comfortable hiking 4–8 hours per day with a daypack, several days in a row, on terrain that can be rocky and uneven. In Lofoten, some sections can be a bit exposed, so it’s best if you’re not too afraid of heights.

Safety & Risk Management

All mountain adventures involve risks. Understanding and managing these risks is an important part of the experience.

Our guides continuously assess risks, choose appropriate routes, and adapt the plan according to the weather, current conditions, and the group’s ability.

For this trip, the main factors to be aware of are:

  • Rapid weather changes
  • Uneven and occasionally slippery terrain
  • Limited access to assistance in remote mountain environments

Our goal is never to eliminate all risk—that is impossible in a mountain environment. Instead, we work to identify, understand, and manage risks in order to create experiences that are as safe, rewarding, and enjoyable as possible.
