Jënni found ultra running at the age of 20 after dropping out of 15 years of team gymnastics. A 50 km trail race outside Gothenburg led to even longer distances and the question: “if I can do this, what else can I do?” My interest in running eventually led me to the mountains and a whole new passion for mountaineering.

Fast forward to today where the mountains have become her whole world. Living in the Alps since 2020, she is passionate about the combination of running and mountaineering. She is driven by an endless curiosity and exploring the unknown – both physical and mental challenges. She loves long days out in the mountains with light equipment and her favorite is climbing a 4000m peak in one day from the valley.

She is also passionate about creativity, storytelling and sharing her adventures with others on her social media and on her website. She hopes to inspire others not to let fear dictate their path, but instead to dare to try something new and follow your dream – even if it feels scary.
