Paolo Intropido

I’ve been a mountain guide since 2005, and mountains have always been my home. I live in Italy with my partner Barbara and our daughter Emma — but my heart is always somewhere between the cliffs, the snow, and the sky.

At twelve, I climbed my first 4,000-meter peak. At eighteen, I knew I wanted to do this seriously. And at twenty-seven, I decided to turn my passion into my profession.

I love teaching, listening to people’s stories, and helping them discover their own rhythm in the mountains. I’m curious by nature — and I like to think I’m patient too.

Seeing technique and confidence grow step by step is one of the most rewarding parts of my work.

When I’m not in the mountains, I read, take photos, and play the bass.
