Program

Before departure

Online meeting where we go over planning, equipment and any questions before the trip

Day 1

Travel day. You arrive on your own in Cortina and check into your hotel (from 15:00). This is a free day for you where you can discover Cortina on your own and do any last minute shopping before we start the hike.

Day 2

The Adventure Begins – First Steps into the Magic of the Dolomites

Today our adventure really begins! After an inspiring welcome meeting, we kick off with a lovely soft start. We take the lift up to Monte Faloria at 2352 meters, where a spectacular panoramic view of the iconic mountain landscape of the Dolomites awaits. It is a perfect introduction to the dramatic beauty of the region.

From there we hike on to our charming mountain hut for the night, which is located right on the turquoise Lago di Soprais. The lake is surrounded by stunning natural beauty and has an almost magical atmosphere that makes it one of the most famous landmarks of the Dolomites – a must-see.

This first day sets the tone for what lies ahead: incredible views, the power of nature and the feeling of being in the middle of a fairy tale. The magic of the Dolomites has just begun!

Hiking: approx. 3-4 hours
Distance: 8 km
Ascent: 500 m
Descent: 700 m

Day 3

Towards New Heights and Postcard-Perfect Views

We continue our hike to the charming village of Misurina, where we stop for a well-deserved break and enjoy a delicious lunch. Here we also get the chance to admire the postcard-perfect Lago di Misurina, a mirror-like lake surrounded by mighty mountain peaks – a place that truly captures the essence of the beauty of the Dolomites.

After lunch, the final stretch up to our cozy mountain hut for the night awaits. The mood is at its best as we gaze out over the magnificent landscape and recharge for new adventures that await us the next day. This is the Dolomites at their best!

Hike: approx. 5-6 hours
Distance: 11 km
Ascent: 800 m
Descend: 550 m

Day 4

A Day of Adventure and Views to Remember

Today we take on the most exciting and technical stretch of our hike – perfect for those who love adventure! The path is steep and exposed at times, but with fixed equipment along the trail and helmets for extra safety, it will be a challenge that will both tickle your nerves and reward you with incredible views. Are you afraid of heights or prefer a calmer day? Then there is an easier trail that will take you to our hut via a more relaxed route.

Halfway through we take a well-deserved break for lunch in a mountain hut, before continuing through one of the most spectacular mountain sections of the Dolomites. This part of the trail is a real highlight – literally and figuratively – and offers unparalleled views.

Before reaching our accommodation for the evening, we stop at the iconic Cadini di Misurina, a viewpoint that has caused Instagram to explode. The pointed mountains that tower in the background make this a must for the camera and the heart. Here we can also meet up with those who have chosen the easier trail, so that everyone gets the chance to experience this amazing landmark.

The easier trail offers a more relaxing hike, without technical sections and with the opportunity to walk on a paved road for most of the distance. Regardless of which route you choose, you will arrive at our mountain hut for the night – full of new impressions and with even more views to take with you.

Hiking: approx. 7-8 hours
Distance: 8 km
Ascent: 1000 m
Descend: 600 m
Day 5
Tre Cime – Iconic Views and Tastes to Remember

Today we find ourselves at the Tre Cime di Lavaredo, the absolute flagship of the Dolomites and a place that is as magnificent as it sounds. After yesterday’s adventure, we take a quieter day and enjoy the surroundings at a slightly more relaxed pace.

We hike through this iconic landscape and stop halfway at a cozy mountain hut to enjoy the Kaiserschmarrn, a local delicacy of fluffy pancake pieces with apple – a perfect combination of energy and pleasure. At the same time, we take in the spectacular views that only the Dolomites can offer.

We then make our way up to a cave that offers a unique view of the Tre Cime – a place that is made for photography and creating memories that will last forever. As the day draws to a close, we hike back to our mountain hut, where we spend another night surrounded by the magical beauty of the Dolomites.

Hike: approx. 4 hours
Distance: 10 km
Ascend: 500 m
Descend: 500 m

Day 6

Adrenaline-filled Day with Via Ferrata and Historical Experiences

Today it’s time for one of the great adventures of the trip – Via Ferrata! With safety in mind, we meet our experienced mountain guide in the morning and head out on an exciting day in the mountains. We make our way through tunnels from the First World War, climb exposed terrain and feel our pulse rise as we navigate this historic and spectacular route. It’s a day filled with both challenges and breathtaking views.

After the Via Ferrata adventure, we get a ride to Passo Falzarego, a place that already offers magnificent views. From here we continue with a shorter but incredibly beautiful hike to the tranquil and crystal clear Lago di Limides, a lake that looks like it was taken straight from a fairy tale.

The day ends with a hike further up and around the mountains, where the landscape only gets more impressive with each step. When we reach our mountain hut for the evening, we can sit back, enjoy the view and reflect on a day filled with adventure, history and pure Dolomite magic.

Hike: approx. 8 hours including Via Ferrata
Distance: 12 km
Ascent: 800 m
Descent: 400 m

Day 7

Discover the Cinque Torri and the Grand Finale of the Journey

Today we head to the iconic Cinque Torri, the five mighty rock formations that rise like frozen giants towards the sky. We explore the area by hiking among the rocks and behind these natural monuments, where the landscape feels both surreal and magical. If we are lucky, we may see some climbers challenging themselves on the vertical rock walls – an inspiring sight reminiscent of the Dolomites’ sense of adventure.

The hike continues through the historic trenches from the world wars, where the wings of history become tangible. With panoramic views of the mountains as a backdrop, we hike all the way back to Cortina, where we check into our hotel and enjoy the city’s charm.

We end the trip with a shared dinner in Cortina (at your own expense for those who wish) – a perfect moment to reflect on the week, share memories and laugh about all the adventures we’ve had together. It will be a world-class ending, just like the Dolomites themselves.

Hiking: approx. 5 hours
Distance: 12 km
Ascent: 50 m
Descent: 1400 m

Day 8
